I am going to take the rest of the week off from gardening and hopefully concentrate on the inside of the house. I don't know if I will get anything done tonight my hands are that sore, I cant even hold a needle to do any stitching lol... I think I may have to soak my hands in some icy water today and get stuck into decorating tonight.
I do have an update on my sister angels project. I'm finding this one slow going and I'm not the fastest stitcher as it is so this is definitely going to take a few years to get finished but I still love it. I am going to take a break from this project and work on a few smaller projects.
Anyway, here is a pic of the angels so far...
I am tempted to substitute the krenik threads and use white instead for the wings, not that the kreniks dont add anything extra to the project, I just feel that I need to do something that will speed the process off stitching up a bit lol... The next time I pic this project up I'm going to frog the Kreniks I have used so far and use DMC B5200 to see how it looks.

Poor hands. What you want is some gardeners soap. It is made by my friend Claire at Barony Crafts. It's wonderful stuff and has pumice in it which is a lot nicer than using a scrubbing brush and gets all the bits out that get stuck in gardening hands. Smells nice too. I have some in Buy Design and Barony Crafts also do online sales.

What ate your gardening gloves? At least try to use a barrier cream before attacking the garden next time, so no more sore hands.

The Sisters are darling...The face is very cute and looks so real. This will be a beautiful piece when you are through. I think your B5200 would work. Good luck and sorry your hands are so sore. Are you wearing gloves?? Just think how good those veggies will taste.
You've certainly been busy! That's rough work you're doing. Take it slow and take good care of those hands. Those are stitchin' hands! Your stitchery is beautiful.
Sounds like the shrubs needed to go, so good you got it done this year and now will look good for the next growing season. The Angels piece looks great! Have you tried Petite treasure braid, instead of the Kreinik? You might want some sparkle and I think it's easier to work with.
